The rule

Pop every bubble on the sheet. Start on any bubble that glows. After each pop, move straight (skip two bubbles and land on the third) or diagonally (skip one and land on the second). You can never land on a bubble that is already popped. The glowing bubbles are the ones you can reach next; not every one of them leads to a finish.

Every roll can be finished. Getting stuck part-way is the puzzle. On roll 1, Piri explains the rule in a few short lines while you play. To see it again, open Settings and replay Piri's lesson or How to play.

Undo and Hint

Undo takes back your last pop. Hint lights a bubble from which the roll can still be finished. When you are stuck, Hint takes you straight back to the last point from which the roll can still be finished and lights the right bubble there.

You pay for both with treats, the fish shown at the top of the screen. An Undo costs 10 treats and a Hint costs 30, and each button shows its price. On roll 1, while Piri explains the rule, both are free.

You start with 50 treats. You earn more by finishing rolls, by meeting today's goals, with every badge, with Piri's daily gift, and in the 60-Second Sprint and Today's Climb. Tap the treat count to see every way to earn them and how many each one pays. In the iPhone and Android apps, you can also watch a short video for 30 treats.

A roll finished with Undo or Hint counts as finished. Finishing one without help earns the Clean clear badge.

Daily roll and streak

Today's roll opens once you have finished roll 2. Your streak counts the days on which you finish at least one roll, by your device's calendar.

Progress

Your progress, profile and settings are stored on this device, in the browser or in the app. They do not move to another phone or computer, and clearing the browser's site data or deleting the app erases them. Your progress is not kept on any server. The game sends a few anonymous usage events, which the privacy policy describes.

Playing offline and on the home screen

The apps work without a connection from the start; only the optional videos need one. In the browser, PopSkip keeps working offline after it has loaded once. To keep the browser version on your home screen: on iPhone, open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen; on Android, open the Chrome menu and choose Add to Home screen or Install app.

Sound on iPhone

Sounds are real recordings and play after your first tap. They follow the silent switch: with the switch on silent you hear nothing, as with other games. To hear them anyway, tap the speaker during a roll and turn on Sound even on silent (other apps' music then pauses). If you still hear nothing, check the speaker's switches and the phone's volume.
